Role summary

Silverado Southlake, a memory care leader, is seeking a Part-Time Laundry Aide for its AM shift, working Saturdays through Mondays. This role is crucial for maintaining a clean, comfortable, and dignified environment for residents. Responsibilities include collecting, cleaning, and sorting laundry, ensuring proper handling of resident garments and linens, and contributing to departmental goals. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, compassionate, and able to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs. A high school diploma is preferred, and comfort working around animals is a plus. The role requires English proficiency and reliable transportation.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Collect, clean, and sort laundry for the community
  • Ensure cleanliness and proper handling of resident garments and linens
  • Contribute to the goals and objectives of the department and community
  • Maintain a safe and sanitary environment

    • Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred
  • Comfortable working around animals and pets
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
  • Willing to work with individuals with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia
  • Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards

    Anticipated pay range$15—$16 USD
