Role summary

Silverado Thousand Oaks is seeking compassionate Part Time Caregivers for their NOC shift. This role involves providing hands-on support to residents with Alzheimer's, dementia, and other memory-impairing conditions, focusing on daily living activities and building meaningful relationships. The ideal candidate is empathetic, reliable, and has a passion for helping others live with dignity. Responsibilities include direct care, record keeping, and reporting changes to the nursing team. A high school diploma and experience in memory care are preferred, but not required. The position offers competitive pay, benefits, and a supportive work environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, dining, etc.)
  • Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members
  • Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment
  • Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team

    • Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred
  • Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other debilitating conditions (preferred but not required)
  • Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards
  • Effective communicator in verbal and written English
  • Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
  • Comfortable working around animals and pets

    Anticipated pay range$22—$25 USD
