Role summary
SingerLewak, a Top 100 accounting and consulting firm operating in the western region since 1959, seeks an Audit Senior for its Assurance & Advisory practice. The role involves performing audit and review procedures, assessing risks, evaluating internal controls, and preparing financial statements. Responsibilities include directing and training junior staff, building client relationships, and managing engagements from planning to issuance. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, at least two years of public accounting experience, and possess or be pursuing a CPA license. Knowledge of US GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB standards is required.

Understanding the client’s business and industry and accounting and control systems
Assessing risks and evaluating the client’s internal control structure
Performing and documenting analytical procedures, substantive tests, and tests of controls to identify and resolve accounting or reporting issues
Reviewing or drafting of financial statements and other client deliverables
Directing, training, supervising and reviewing the work performed by staff and experienced staff auditors
Building and maintaining good client relationships
Being actively involved all phases of a client engagement, from planning to issuance
Demonstrating proficiency in technical skills, work quality, and application of professional and firm standards Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
At least two years of experience in public accounting
Holds a current and valid CPA’s license, or is working toward obtaining the license by taking and passing the applicable state CPA exam
Ability to travel to assigned client locations
