Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled
DevOps Engineer
with strong experience in
Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Python, Terraform, and cloud networking
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure, automating deployment processes, and improving system reliability and performance through DevOps best practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, build, and maintain
cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
.
- Develop and manage
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
using
Terraform
.
- Automate operational tasks and workflows using
Python scripting
.
- Implement and maintain
CI/CD pipelines
to support continuous integration and delivery.
- Manage and optimize
cloud networking components
including VPCs, load balancers, subnets, and firewalls.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues.
- Collaborate with development teams to
streamline application deployment and release cycles
.
- Ensure
security, scalability, and high availability
of cloud environments.
- Implement
logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions
for infrastructure and applications.
- Maintain documentation for infrastructure architecture, automation scripts, and processes.

Required Skills

Cloud Platform

- Strong hands-on experience with
Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
services such as:
- Compute Engine
- Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
- Cloud Storage
- Cloud Build
- IAM and security services

Infrastructure as Code

- Experience with
Terraform
for provisioning and managing infrastructure.

Programming / Scripting

- Proficiency in
Python
for automation, scripting, and integration tasks.

Networking

- Strong understanding of
cloud networking concepts
, including:
- VPC
- Subnets
- Load Balancers
- DNS
- VPN
- Firewall rules
- Network security

Preferred Skills

- Experience with
Docker and Kubernetes
.
- Knowledge of
CI/CD tools
such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- Experience with
monitoring tools
like Prometheus, Grafana, or GCP Operations Suite.
- Familiarity with
Linux system administration
.
- Exposure to
DevOps practices, microservices architecture, and container orchestration
.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in
Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
.
