Role summary
Snowflake is seeking an AI-native thinker to join the Office of the CEO as an AI Associate. This role involves designing, building, and deploying AI agents to solve business problems, automate processes, and drive transformation across various functions. You will partner closely with product teams to inform the product roadmap and serve as a thought partner to the CEO and executive team, using AI tools to analyze data and stress-test strategies. The ideal candidate has demonstrated experience building AI agents, strong data fluency (SQL, Python), first principles thinking, and exceptional communication skills. While software engineering experience is a plus, it's not strictly necessary. This is a unique opportunity for an early-career individual to gain significant executive experience and contribute to the future of AI in enterprise.
At Snowflake, we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise. To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work. You don’t just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset — who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done.
Are you the kind of person who gets satisfaction from automating many aspects of your work and non-work life? Are you able to do this while finding the time to still keep great human connections?
We are looking for an AI-native, first principles thinker who will work alongside our CEO and ELT members to drive change one project and one team at a time across Snowflake. Working closely with our product teams, you will help us reimagine what is possible today and what should be built for tomorrow. Significant experience building AI agents of various kinds is a requirement, as is a solid grasp of data and analysis. Software engineering experience is a plus but not strictly necessary.
This position is based in Menlo Park, CA
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Build AI agents that solve real business problems. You will design, build, and deploy agents across Snowflake functions — from automating executive reporting to creating tools that help sales, marketing, and engineering teams work at 10x speed.
Partner with product teams to shape what gets built. You will be embedded with our product organization, providing first-hand signal on what works and what's missing. Your day-to-day usage of Snowflake's own AI capabilities will directly inform the product roadmap.
Drive transformation one team at a time. Rather than writing strategy decks, you will sit with a team, understand their workflows, and build AI-powered solutions that change how they operate — then move to the next.
Serve as a thought partner to the CEO and executive team. You will use AI tools to stress-test strategies, surface insights from data, and provide data-backed perspectives in real-time. This is a seat at the table for someone early in their career.
Set the standard for AI-native operations. You will define and demonstrate what an AI-powered operating model looks like at Snowflake — automated reporting, predictive metrics, LLM-driven communications, agentic workflows — and help scale it across the company.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Required
2-5 years of professional experience in technology, consulting, or a high-growth environment
Demonstrated experience building AI agents — not just using ChatGPT, but designing multi-step agentic workflows, tool-use patterns, and AI pipelines that run autonomously
Strong data fluency: comfortable querying, analyzing, and reasoning about data (SQL, Python, or equivalent)
First principles thinking: you break problems down to fundamentals and rebuild from there, rather than relying on playbooks
Exceptional communication: you can translate technical concepts into business impact and write clearly for an executive audience
Low ego, high agency: you are comfortable operating behind the scenes, picking up whatever needs doing, and working across every level of the organization
Computer science degree or equivalent hands-on technical experience
Preferred
Familiarity with the Snowflake platform and the AI Data Cloud ecosystem
A public portfolio of AI projects — GitHub repos, shipped products, blog posts, or side projects that demonstrate your builder instinct
WHY THIS ROLE

You will be at the center of the AI revolution, helping to steer one of the most important data companies in the world — not from the sidelines, but by building the tools and systems that change how we operate.
If you are the kind of person who has already automated half your life and is looking for a bigger canvas, we want to talk to you.
