Role summary
Sonida Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Director for its Waterford of Plano community in Plano, Texas. This role is responsible for maintaining the grounds and interior of the community, including structural, electrical, plumbing, security, and HVAC systems. The Maintenance Director will also oversee equipment repair, apartment refurbishing, and ensure compliance with fire safety, emergency records, and state inspection requirements. Familiarity with building safety and hazard reduction is preferred, as is experience with EHR technologies, Microsoft Power BI, SafelyYou, and Sage systems. Maintenance Director Responsibilities include:
- Maintains grounds, including outside building repair, lawn maintenance and garbage removal.
- Maintains inside of building, offices, and common areas.
- Maintains and/or oversees repair of Community equipment; ensures that equipment is functioning properly, and staff are trained appropriately in its use.
- Prepares apartments for move-in and refurbishing of units after move-out.
- Maintains fire safety and emergency records, maintenance of systems and inspections required by state.
Qualifications:
- Experience in maintenance preferred; familiarity with techniques of minor repair and maintenance for structural, electrical, plumbing, security and heating and cooling systems required.
- Experience in building safety and hazard reduction preferred.
