Role summary
The Starfall team is seeking a Loads & Dynamics Engineer to develop the world's first high-capacity, high-cadence, low-cost re-entry space capsule for rapid global cargo delivery. This role involves close collaboration with responsible engineers and the Falcon dynamics team to influence hardware and mission design. Responsibilities include simulating dynamic events, contributing to in-house software, and conducting hands-on testing. You will own all low and high frequency loads and vibration analyses across various mission phases, from ground transportation to on-orbit operations and re-entry. Strong candidates will possess excellent hardware intuition and experience in frequency-domain signal processing.
SpaceX was founded under the belief that a future where humanity is out exploring the stars is fundamentally more exciting than one where we are not. Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars.
