Role summary
SpaceX is seeking an Electrical Engineer for their Starlink silicon reliability team. This role involves package-level and wafer-level reliability testing, root cause analysis of failures, and driving improvements in microelectronics reliability for Starlink devices. Responsibilities include planning and executing reliability test campaigns, developing custom test hardware and software, performing hands-on debugging, and analyzing reliability data to predict field performance and inform design/process changes. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering and experience in semiconductor reliability or similar high-reliability industries, with preferred skills in Python, PCB design, and various reliability standards.
SpaceX was founded under the belief that a future where humanity is out exploring the stars is fundamentally more exciting than one where we are not. Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars.
