Role summary

SpaceX is seeking an Avionics Manufacturing Engineer to build advanced launch vehicles and spacecraft. This role involves owning the full manufacturing process for avionics hardware, including PCBA, sensors, and electromechanical assembly. Responsibilities include driving design for manufacturability, acting as the primary engineering contact for flight hardware, and championing continuous process improvement. The engineer will liaise between avionics, supply chain, and production to meet rate objectives, implement and automate manufacturing processes, and troubleshoot production issues. The role also involves selecting and qualifying new equipment, designing tooling, and preparing engineering documentation. A Bachelor's degree in engineering and 1+ years of experience are required, with 3+ years of experience in electronics hardware design/production preferred.

SpaceX was founded under the belief that a future where humanity is out exploring the stars is fundamentally more exciting than one where we are not. Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars.
