SpaceX is seeking a Dangerous Goods Lead to manage and improve policies, controls, and processes for transporting dangerous goods globally. This role requires expertise in DG regulations (IATA, 49 CFR, IMDG), compliance, and risk management, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in managing DG shipments and 3 years with international regulations. The Lead will conduct audits, build relationships with regulators, and support new transportation models. This position is based in Bastrop, TX, Redmond/Woodinville, WA, or Hawthorne, CA, requiring onsite presence and willingness to work extended hours and travel.
SpaceX was founded under the belief that a future where humanity is out exploring the stars is fundamentally more exciting than one where we are not. Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars.
