This role involves assisting orthodontists during patient appointments, performing procedures like fitting bands, bonding brackets, and taking digital scans. The assistant will also educate patients on orthodontic care and build relationships. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, empathy, patience, organizational skills, and a positive, team-oriented attitude. A dental assistant program completion and DANB x-ray certification are preferred, as is experience in an orthodontic setting.
