Role summary

Sploot is seeking a Veterinary Assistant for its Urgent Care and General Practice clinic. This role offers flexible shifts, no overnights, and a supportive team environment with mentorship and comprehensive training. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of veterinary assistant experience, a team-first mindset, and a passion for pet care. Responsibilities include client support, assisting with procedures, and maintaining clinic upkeep. Experience in dentistry or anesthesia is a plus. What Makes You a Great Fit

2+ years of veterinary assistant experience; emergency or urgent care is a plus but not required

Team-first mindset — collaborative, communicative, and ready to jump in where needed

Passionate about delivering best-in-class care to pets and their people

Organized, detail-oriented, and focused on keeping the clinic running smoothly

Bonus Points: experience or interest in dentistry or anesthesia

What You'll Do

Client Support: Create a calm, reassuring experience so pet parents feel confident in their pets' care

Procedural Support: Assist doctors and technicians with treatments and procedures, including safe and gentle patient restraint

Clinic Upkeep: Maintain a clean, organized clinic environment for pets, clients, and the whole team
