Quality Inspector - Cable & Wire Harness - Level II

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cable & Harness Inspector to join our team in Caguas Puerto Rico. This is a full-time position.  The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in cable and harness inspection, excellent attention to detail, and a dedication to delivering high-quality work. Key Responsibilities

Ensure products meet quality and specification standards

Verify safety wire orientation, correct turns, and pigtails as per specifications

Confirm shipping documentation is legible and accurate (part number, serial number, etc.)

Check documentation packages to industry standards and classify defects

Interpret manufacturing drawings and identifying non-conformances

Periodically verify accuracy and ensure productivity to meet production schedules

Maintain equipment and keep the work area organized

Required Qualifications

Knowledge of cable and harness assembly methods

Familiar with IPC-A-620 standards

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Cable and Harness Inspector/Assembler in electronic manufacturing or related fields

Ability to read schematics, assembly drawings, and identify wiring components

Proficient in documenting Certificates of Conformance (COC)

Strong organizational, communication, and software adaptation skills

Proven ability to de-escalate workplace conflicts effectively

Bilingual English and Spanish must be able to read and write

Must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment 

Preferred Qualifications

Certified or previously certified in IPC-A-620 is a plus but not required

Diploma or GED from an accredited high school or technical school; college degree in engineering

Knowledge of electronic contract manufacturing and LEAN manufacturing

Preferred: 5 years of experience, with 2 years as a Cable and Harness Inspector
