Role summary

Squishable is seeking Seasonal Retail Sales Associates for their Westfield Old Orchard location. This role involves acting as a brand ambassador, providing excellent customer service, processing transactions, managing inventory, and maintaining visual merchandising standards. The position requires flexible availability throughout the holiday season, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and previous retail experience is preferred. Candidates must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and be 18 years or older. This is a seasonal role from November through early January.

With the millions-strong Squishable fan community cheering us on (and a lot of cupcakes, coffee, and karaoke) we make people say “awww.” Our offices are in a sunny loft in NYC's Flatiron District and in downtown Washington, DC.

What does a Seasonal Squishable Retail Sales Associate do?

Our Seasonal Retail Sales Associates become Squishable ambassadors: they learn our unique products inside out and develop the communication skills to turn that knowledge into the highest level of customer service.

As a member of the team, this person will:

Perform all POS transactions efficiently and courteously during the busy holiday season

Engage with customers and create a fun, memorable holiday shopping experience in the store

Process inbound holiday shipments efficiently and accurately

Maintain an organized inventory and ensure all merchandise is displayed according to brand visual guidelines

Support the team with opening and closing duties as assigned, particularly during peak holiday periods

Qualifications

Must have flexible availability throughout the holiday season, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Previous retail experience, preferably in a pop-up, promotional, or boutique environment

Able to lift and move cartons weighing up to 25 lbs.

Must be 18 years of age or older

Compensation

Pay rate is $15.50 per hour
