Role summary

Squishable is seeking a Retail Sales Lead for their Twelve Oaks Mall location. This role focuses on creating an exceptional customer experience, driving sales strategies, and acting as a brand ambassador. The ideal candidate is a natural-born leader, passionate, driven, and highly organized, with at least 2 years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment. Responsibilities include team supervision, sales accountability, customer issue resolution, and product knowledge development. The role requires strong communication and organizational skills, emotional intelligence, and a team-player attitude. Flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays, is necessary. Compensation is $16.00 per hour, with benefits including career growth opportunities, employee discounts, and a 401(k) with employer match.

Candidates must be well-spoken and confident interacting with people at all levels while remaining calm and organized at all times.

What does a Squishable Retail Sales Lead do?

Understands organizational objectives and makes decisions in partnership with the Store Manager that align with company priorities and values

Enforces sales strategies, initiatives, and growth across all categories

Holds self and the sales team accountable for personal sales productivity

Acts as a brand ambassador in the local market or mall to drive brand loyalty and business (e.g., charity events, local associations, mall initiatives)

Resolves customer issues with a solution-oriented, forward-thinking approach; partners with the Store Manager and/or the District or Regional Manager as appropriate

Develops individual and team product knowledge to stay up to date on all current Squishable in-store products

Assists in supervising the team daily, weekly, and monthly to meet goals and use company tools; empowers others and encourages individual growth

Qualifications

2+ years of relevant supervisory experience in a high-volume, fast-paced, challenging, and creative customer-facing environment

Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with the ability to balance priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, ever-changing, and highly entrepreneurial environment

High emotional intelligence, with the ability to work with and manage diverse teams by being empathetic, intuitive, self-motivated, and driven

Willing to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Able to transport stock as required, including lifting cartons up to 25 lbs.

Must be 18 or older

Compensation

Pay range is $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
