Role summary

Strategic Staffing Solutions is seeking a Junior UX Designer for a 6+ month contract opportunity. This role supports the delivery of web, native, and digital application experiences in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have strong UX and visual design skills, proficiency with modern design tools like Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite, and excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Responsibilities include creating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes, and working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to develop user-centered solutions. Familiarity with HTML/CSS and a portfolio are preferred.

Job Title: Junior UX Designer

Contract Length: 6+ Months

Remote Work

Seeking a Junior UX Designer to support the delivery of web-based, native, and digital application experiences within a collaborative design environment. This role will work closely with lead designers, developers, analysts, and stakeholders to create user-focused digital experiences and support the delivery of finalized designs.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong UX and visual design skills, proficiency with modern design tools, and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support lead designers in delivering web-based and native digital applications
  • Create and refine user experience and visual design solutions
  • Assist in developing wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and finalized design assets
  • Collaborate with team members to translate design requirements into effective user-centered solutions
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and clients to understand goals and project objectives
  • Contribute to design discussions and communicate design rationale effectively
  • Support usability improvements and digital experience enhancements
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects while meeting established deadlines

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in UX design and visual design
  • Experience creating and delivering web, native, and other digital applications
  • Proficiency with Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently with oversight
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience creating wireframes and prototypes
  • Familiarity with HTML and CSS
  • Portfolio showcasing UX and visual design work
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
