Role summary
Stream-Flo, a leading provider of oil and gas industry equipment, seeks a Service Technician 3 for a rotational position. This role involves assembling, disassembling, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment, preparing service reports, managing inventory, and maintaining customer relationships. The technician will also act as a safety leader, conduct job safety analyses, and install/remove equipment. Availability for 24-hour call-outs and travel is required. Key position functions include:
- Assemble, disassemble, and test equipment, performing troubleshooting and repair of equipment.
- Prepare accurate field service tickets/job reports and other administrative forms as required.
- Maintain inventory levels of spare parts for service and rental tools.
- Promote and perform any field service-oriented sales and maintain a confident customer relationship for the company.
- Must be receptive to and able to comprehend training received on new related processes.
- Conduct job safety analysis and work as a safety leader in every aspect while performing duties.
- May assist in developing job action planning with customer on location.
- Install and/or remove equipment in accordance with applicable technical procedures.
- Must be available on a 24-hour call basis to respond to customer needs.
- Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
- Comply with all applicable quality, health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Preferred candidate will possess a combination of the following:
- Excellent operational and maintenance knowledge of Wellhead equipment.
- 5 years of relevant field experience
- NSTC Training Certificate
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Mechanical aptitude
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- This is a rotation position of 3 weeks on and 3 weeks off; must be available to travel to support company and customer needs as required.
