Role summary

The Senior Data Analyst will focus on enterprise-wide and operational performance analytics within the healthcare sector. This role involves developing and maintaining KPIs using SQL, building dashboards for leadership, identifying improvement opportunities, and supporting initiatives with data-driven insights. The analyst will collaborate with operational, clinical, and technology teams to enhance clinical decision-making, quality improvement, and value-based care performance. Key responsibilities include root cause analysis, data quality troubleshooting, and maintaining documentation for metrics and data sources. A Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of healthcare data analysis experience are required, with a preference for experience with clinical data sources and visualization tools.

    What You'll Do

    The Senior Data Analyst will work across the organization to support new and ongoing initiatives. This person will join a highly experienced and passionate team and will play a key role in defining the future of the organization. The analyst’s primary focus will be Enterprise-wide and operational performance analytics, including clinical performance and outcomes measurement, developing and maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs), building dashboards for executive, operational, and clinical leaders, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement, and supporting cross-functional initiatives with data-driven insights.

    The analyst will work closely with operational and clinical leadership, Market Stakeholders, and the broader Technology team to develop a robust suite of analytics that supports clinical decision-making, quality improvement, and value-based care performance.

    Essential Functions

  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) using SQL and enterprise data sources to support strategic, operational, and clinical decision-making.
  • Design, build, and manage dashboards that provide actionable insights to medical directors, clinical teams, and operational leaders across the organization.
  • Partner with operational stakeholders to evaluate the effectiveness of Strive’s operating models, including patient engagement, scheduling, visits, productivity, and risk adjustment.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to investigate data anomalies, performance trends, clinical variation, and operational variation, delivering clear, data-backed recommendations.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot data pipeline and quality issues, ensuring accurate, timely, and reliable reporting used in clinical and operational contexts.
  • Maintain clear, accessible documentation of metrics definitions, data sources, and dashboard logic to support transparency, consistency, and knowledge transfer, including alignment on clinical definitions and assumptions.

    • Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with strong academic achievement.
  • Located in Denver.
  • 4+ years’ experience in healthcare data analysis.
  • Internet Connectivity - Min Speeds: 3.8Mbps/3.0Mbps (up/down): Latency <60 ms.
  • Ability to travel and be onsite to meet business needs.

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of analyzing medical claims, lab data, EMR data, and other clinical data sources to assess quality, utilization, and outcomes.
  • High degree of proficiency in Microsoft SQL, Excel, PowerPoint, and visualization tools.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and comfort in ambiguity; a self-starter. Desire to work in a start-up environment. Previous experience at a start-up is a plus.
  • Experience supporting physicians, medical directors, or clinical leaders with analytics is a plus.

    • Annual Salary Range: $85,500 - $104,000. This position is also eligible for a target annual bonus of 10%.

    Final compensation will be determined based on location, experience, and qualifications.
