Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Director of Quality Control based in Birmingham, AL, with the flexibility to work remotely on occasion. The Director of Quality Control will oversee and manage all aspects of quality control, ensuring adherence to product standards and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include developing and implementing quality assurance processes, conducting laboratory tests, managing quality management systems, and supervising quality control operations to maintain high standards.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Quality Control and Quality Management practices
Experience with Laboratory Skills and Microbiology
Knowledge of Quality Assurance processes and methodologies
Strong leadership and team management abilities
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Familiarity with regulatory standards in the jewelry or manufacturing industry
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus
Experience in the luxury goods or jewelry industry is an advantage
