Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Director of Quality Control to join our team, responsible for the overall quality management of the company. This role will oversee quality strategy development, inspection and testing systems, supplier quality control, and process optimization, ensuring that all products and processes meet company standards and regulatory requirements, while supporting sustainable business growth.
Candidates with experience in jewelry manufacturing, gemstones, luxury goods, or related industries are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for the daily management and overall planning of the Quality Control department;
Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems and standards;
Oversee product inspection, testing, and quality assurance processes;
Manage supplier quality performance and evaluation systems;
Control product quality risks and drive continuous improvement initiatives;
Monitor production and supply chain quality performance and adjust strategies when necessary;
Collaborate closely with production, procurement, operations, and other departments;
Establish and improve quality management procedures and documentation systems;
Lead, guide, and develop the quality control team;
Complete other related tasks assigned by the company.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or above;
10+ years of experience in quality control or quality management;
5+ years of team management experience;
Familiar with quality systems, supplier quality management, and inspection processes;
Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills;
Ability to independently drive projects and achieve goals;
Proficient in office software and ERP systems.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in international quality management or global supplier quality control;
Experience in quality process optimization and improvement projects;
Familiarity with ERP systems and quality management tools;
Strong expertise in inspection standards and compliance management;
Experience in cross-functional collaboration and project management;
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment;
Experience in team building, talent development, and performance management;
