About The Role
We are seeking a skilled Web Developer with expertise in ASP.NET, C#, AWS, and SQL Server to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing, modifying, and maintaining web applications and systems that support healthcare initiatives, particularly Medicaid and other health programs. Your responsibilities will include coding, testing, debugging, and documenting software solutions, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality. This position offers a fully remote work environment, providing flexibility to work from anywhere within the United States, with occasional travel opportunities. You will have the chance to contribute to meaningful projects that improve healthcare delivery and outcomes for underserved populations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3+ years of application, web, and UI development experience using ASP.NET and C#
- Proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including troubleshooting data issues and writing data transformation scripts
- Experience working with third-party software integration via interface engines
- Hands-on experience with web application hosting in Microsoft IIS and developing/supporting web APIs
- Familiarity with batch UNIX/Linux scripting is highly desirable
- Healthcare or Medicaid systems experience is highly preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to develop innovative solutions
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, debug, and document web applications and programs using ASP.NET, C#, and related technologies
- Perform change order coding and research to implement modifications and enhancements
- Assist in modifying company products and client/internal systems to meet evolving needs
- Gather system information, analyze program requirements, and prepare technical documentation
- Design programs for new projects or enhancements to existing systems
- Create detailed specifications for low to moderate complexity programs
- Support and resolve production support issues promptly and effectively
- Develop and propose alternative approaches to problem resolution
- Develop test plans and verify logic of new or modified programs, ensuring quality standards
- Participate in peer reviews and quality assurance activities to maintain high standards
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to deliver solutions aligned with project goals
