About The Role
As a QA Engineer supporting MIS teams at KnowBe4, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of a diverse array of business systems, including SaaS platforms such as NetSuite, Salesforce, and Workday, as well as internally developed applications and hosted solutions. This position requires a proactive self-starter who can quickly adapt to new systems and requirements, including specialized testing for AI systems and Large Language Models (LLMs). Your responsibilities will encompass designing comprehensive test strategies, executing manual and automated tests, and collaborating closely with development and business teams to maintain high-quality standards. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in software quality assurance
- Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing methodologies across SaaS platforms such as NetSuite, Salesforce, and Workday
- Proficiency in test automation frameworks (experience with Copado Robotic Testing is a plus)
- Working knowledge of programming/query languages including SOQL, SQL, Java, and Python
- Experience with API testing tools like Postman
- Familiarity with Jira for requirement management and bug tracking
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure
- Knowledge of testing approaches for AI systems, especially for evaluating LLM outputs for accuracy and alignment with requirements
- Experience with database testing and data integration validation
- Familiarity with workflow automation tools like UiPath and Work-Relay (a plus)
- Understanding of security testing principles and best practices
- Exceptional attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Self-motivated with the ability to quickly learn new systems and technologies with minimal supervision
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and detailed test plans for MIS systems and projects
- Create and maintain test cases for new features, enhancements, and system integrations
- Ensure adherence to QA best practices and standards across all platforms
- Perform manual testing, including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing
- Conduct specialized testing of AI systems, including LLMs, to evaluate output accuracy, consistency, and business alignment
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to support various applications and improve testing efficiency
- Identify, document, and track software defects using appropriate tools, providing clear reproduction steps and evidence
- Collaborate with development teams for timely resolution of issues and perform root cause analysis on critical bugs
- Test system integrations to ensure data consistency, flow, and functionality across multiple platforms
- Verify end-to-end business processes spanning multiple systems for seamless operation
- Prepare detailed test reports and quality metrics for stakeholders
- Maintain up-to-date documentation, including test cases, procedures, and test plans aligned with business requirements
- Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives
- Propose process improvements to enhance testing effectiveness and efficiency
- Stay current with the latest QA methodologies, tools, and best practices to continuously improve testing processes
