About The Role
The QA Engineer supporting MIS teams at KnowBe4 will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of a diverse set of business systems. These include SaaS platforms such as NetSuite, Salesforce, and Workday, as well as internally developed applications and hosted solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a proactive, self-starter mentality, with the ability to rapidly learn new systems and adapt to evolving requirements. This role involves designing and executing comprehensive testing strategies, including manual, automated, functional, regression, and specialized testing for AI systems like Large Language Models (LLMs). The QA Engineer will collaborate closely with development, business analysis, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business needs while continuously improving testing processes and methodologies.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance
  • Strong expertise in manual and automated testing across SaaS platforms such as NetSuite, Salesforce, and Workday
  • Proficiency in test automation frameworks (experience with Copado Robotic Testing is a plus)
  • Working knowledge of programming/query languages including SOQL, SQL, Java, and Python
  • Experience with API testing tools like Postman
  • Familiarity with Jira for requirement and bug tracking
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure
  • Knowledge of testing approaches for AI systems, especially for evaluating LLM outputs for accuracy and alignment
  • Experience with database testing and data integration validation
  • Familiarity with workflow automation tools such as UiPath or Work‑Relay is advantageous
  • Understanding of security testing principles and best practices
  • Exceptional attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments
  • Self-motivated with the ability to quickly learn new systems and technologies with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies for MIS systems and projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Create detailed test plans and test cases for new features, enhancements, and system integrations
  • Maintain QA best practices and standards across all platforms
  • Quickly adapt to and learn new systems, platforms, and business processes with minimal guidance
  • Thoroughly review requirements documentation to understand system functionality and testing needs
  • Perform manual testing across various applications, including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing
  • Conduct specialized testing of AI systems, such as LLMs, to evaluate output accuracy, consistency, and compliance with business requirements
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to support repetitive testing scenarios, enhancing efficiency
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using appropriate tools, providing detailed reproduction steps and evidence
  • Collaborate with developers to facilitate timely issue resolution and perform root cause analysis on critical bugs
  • Test system integrations to ensure data flow, consistency, and end-to-end process integrity across multiple platforms
  • Prepare detailed test reports and quality metrics for stakeholders, maintaining comprehensive documentation of testing activities
  • Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives
  • Propose process improvements to enhance testing efficiency, automation coverage, and overall quality assurance practices
