Role summary
Seeking a Full-Time Pre-Op/PACU Registered Nurse for a same-day surgery setting. Responsibilities include providing direct nursing care to pre-operative and post-operative patients, administering medications and treatments, monitoring patient conditions, and ensuring patient safety and comfort. The role requires assessing patient needs, implementing care plans, managing supplies, and maintaining patient privacy. Must hold a current Registered Nurse License and BLS/ACLS certifications. This position involves direct patient interaction and requires the ability to function independently in emergency situations and make sound clinical judgments.

Essential Functions:
Assists in provision of nursing care to patients in a same day surgery setting. Assumes total responsibility for patient care in accordance with physician’s orders and centers policies. Monitors and controls use of and charging for supplies utilized in the center.
