The opportunity

TechnologyAdvice is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist who can turn hiring needs into strong candidate pipelines and successful hires. You’ll recruit across business functions, partner directly with hiring managers, and take ownership of moving your searches forward.

This role is a good fit if you enjoy finding candidates who aren’t actively applying, learning what a team needs, and changing your approach when a search stalls. You’ll have support from the recruiting team, with the expectation that you bring recommendations and take action without waiting for someone to outline every next step.

Experience recruiting B2B sales professionals is especially valuable for this role.

Location: United States

What you'll do

  • Own multiple searches from the hiring-manager intake through offer acceptance and the handoff to onboarding.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand business needs, define what success looks like in each role, and agree on interview criteria and timelines.
  • Build a sourcing plan for each opening and actively engage qualified candidates through LinkedIn, direct outreach, referrals, and relevant professional communities.
  • Write personalized outreach that gives candidates a clear reason to consider TechnologyAdvice, and maintain relationships with promising candidates for future openings.
  • Conduct structured phone and video screens, assess evidence against role requirements, and share clear recommendations with hiring managers.
  • Keep interviews and assessments moving, follow up on feedback, and address delays before they put a candidate or hiring timeline at risk.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and next steps in Greenhouse, and provide useful updates on pipeline health, sourcing results, and blockers.
  • Use recruiting data and hiring-manager feedback to adjust the search when the current approach is not producing qualified candidates.
  • Guide candidates through the process with clear expectations and timely communication, including offer discussions and closing.
  • Use AI and automation to reduce repetitive work such as outreach drafting, scheduling reminders, and reporting, while reviewing outputs and applying your own judgment to candidate assessments.
  • Work with the recruiting team, HR, and hiring managers to improve workflows and make the transition from accepted offer to onboarding smooth.
  • Who you are

  • At least two years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including in-house corporate recruitment and direct partnership with hiring managers.
  • Experience recruiting professional roles across business functions, with the ability to adapt sourcing and screening approaches to different searches.
  • A track record of finding and engaging passive candidates through personalized outreach, Boolean searches, and LinkedIn or similar tools.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, identify which searches need attention, and maintain momentum across multiple openings.
  • Clear communication with candidates and hiring managers, including asking useful questions and providing specific recommendations supported by evidence.
  • A proactive approach to difficult searches, consistent follow-through on commitments, and the ability to raise problems early with a proposed next step.
  • Experience using an ATS to manage candidate pipelines and recruiting data; Greenhouse experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Google Workspace and Slack, with a willingness to learn AI and automation tools that improve recruiting workflows.
  • What success looks like

  • Your searches have clear plans and active pipelines built through consistent, targeted sourcing.
  • Qualified candidates move through the process promptly, with clear next steps and useful hiring-manager feedback.
  • Hiring managers can rely on your updates and recommendations, and candidates receive a thoughtful, well-organized experience.
