Role summary

JB Roofing, a Tecta America company, is seeking a Commercial Roofing Service Technician I in Tiffin, OH. This role involves leading service crews in investigating, locating, and repairing leaks and defects in various commercial roofing systems including EPDM, PVC, TPO, Built-up Roofing, Modified Bitumen, and low slope metal. The technician will manage projects from start to finish, ensuring high craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include roof maintenance, adhering to safety guidelines, customer interaction, crew management, paperwork, and assisting in crew training. Requires 2+ years of experience leading commercial roofing crews, a valid driver's license, ability to lift 50+ lbs, work at heights and in various weather conditions, and technology savviness. Bilingualism in Spanish is a plus.

You would manage commercial roofing projects from start to finish and ensure the highest level of craftsmanship.Commercial Roofing Service Foreman Responsibilities:
  • Roof maintenance and repairs
  • Perform work in accordance with job specifications and safety guidelines.
  • Maintain professional interaction with all customers.
  • Manage commercial roofing crew, includes completing required paperwork, attending meetings as necessary, assist in training of crew members as needed
Commercial Roofing Service Foreman Core Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • 2+ years experience leading commercial roofing crews
  • A valid driver's license
  • Bilingual a plus!, English and Spanish
  • Must be able to lift 50+ pounds regularly
  • Must be able to work at varying heights and during variety of weather conditions
  • Ability to communicate well with clients, supervisors, and co-workers.

  • Technology savvy
