Role summary
Telecare is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support its behavioral health programs in Northern and Central Washington. This hybrid role involves significant regional travel (approximately 75% of the time) and requires a strategic partner who can build strong relationships with leaders. The HRBP will focus on employee relations, performance management, policy application, workforce engagement, and ensuring sound HR practices to support clinical quality, customer satisfaction, and financial security. The ideal candidate is emotionally intelligent, possesses strong judgment, and aligns with Telecare's mission. A Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of progressive HR experience in multi-site healthcare or specialty healthcare, along with strong knowledge of employment law, are required.

Northern & Central Washington
Locations: Tacoma, Tukwila, Stanwood, Sedro-Woolley
Full Time Salaried, Monday–Friday
Hybrid Role:
- 3 days/week regional travel, primarily same-day travel within Northern and Central Washington. Occasional overnight travel may be required (typically 3-4 nights per month, depending on business needs and the selected candidate's home location)
- 2 days/week remote typically
- Occasional quarterly regional travel
Compensation
Expected starting wage range: $80,168.40 – $96,626.93 annually. Salary range max is $115,018.21
Starting pay is based on geographic location and commensurate with experience.

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a trusted, strategic partner to leaders and teams across mid to high acuity behavioral health programs in Central and Northern Washington, including community-based services, Evaluation & Treatment (E&T), and Next Steps programs.

Clinical Quality & Risk Management
- Partner with leaders on employee relations, performance management, and policy application
- Support safe, compliant, and high-quality care delivery through sound HR practices
- Collaborate closely with Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, LOA, Training, and People Analytics
Workforce Engagement
- Build strong program presence through regular rounding and relationship-based support
- Use engagement data, observations, and feedback to guide leaders toward action
- Support the full employee lifecycle—from onboarding to development and retention
Customer Satisfaction
- Serve as a trusted advisor to program and regional leaders
- Facilitate leadership discussions, trainings, and meetings
- Balance employee, leader, and enterprise perspectives with professionalism and care
Financial Security
- Support fiscally responsible HR decision-making
- Identify and escalate legal, regulatory, or organizational risk appropriately
- Ensure consistent, fair application of policies across programs

Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related business field and 5 years of progressive HR experience in multi-site healthcare or specialty healthcare OR
7 years of progressive HR experience with increasing responsibility in multi-site healthcare or specialty healthcare
- Strong working knowledge of state and federal employment law
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills
- Ability to travel throughout the region ~75% of the time
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to meet all post-offer employment requirements
Preferred
- Master’s degree in HR or related field
- 3+ years HR Business Partner experience
- Experience in healthcare or behavioral health environments
