Role summary
Tenstorrent seeks an experienced Startup Lawyer to navigate the AI industry's complexities. This hybrid role in Santa Clara, CA, requires a Juris Doctor, active bar membership, and 7+ years of experience in technology transactions, IP, sales, marketing, M&A, and procurement. The ideal candidate is a curious, decisive problem-solver eager to build processes and collaborate with business partners in a fast-paced startup environment. Responsibilities include advising on a broad range of legal issues and contributing to business growth within a highly regulated sector.
Tenstorrent is leading the industry on cutting-edge AI technology, revolutionizing performance expectations, ease of use, and cost efficiency. With AI redefining the computing paradigm, solutions must evolve to unify innovations in software models, compilers, platforms, networking, and semiconductors. Our diverse team of technologists have developed a high performance RISC-V CPU from scratch, and share a passion for AI and a deep desire to build the best AI platform possible. We value collaboration, curiosity, and a commitment to solving hard problems. We are growing our team and looking for contributors of all seniorities.
Tenstorrent is looking for a “smarter than the average bear” expert in their field prepared to make decisions, write, build processes, and fully engage our non-legal partners to grow our business together. In this role, you will usher in the growth phase of Tenstorrent against the backdrop of the highly-regulated, evolving-by-the-day, and “in the spotlight” AI industry.
The ideal candidate is seeking out the challenge of a fast-paced startup, is curious to learn about (arguably) the most complicated product on the planet, and brings some fun with their hard work.
This role is hybrid, based out of Santa Clara, CA.
