Role summary
Terranova is seeking a Full Stack Web Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable applications and cloud infrastructure. The role involves developing responsive user interfaces, backend APIs, and architecting global deployments. Responsibilities include implementing CI/CD, automated testing, observability, and incident response workflows, as well as integrating data and control interfaces with product and robotics teams. Experience with TypeScript, React/Next.js, Node.js/FastAPI/Go, PostgreSQL, Redis, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CDK), and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is required. Familiarity with OAuth/OIDC is also necessary. The role is for an early-stage startup environment.

What to to Expect
We are looking for a full-stack engineer who can design and maintain modern, scalable applications while owning our cloud and infrastructure layer. You’ll build responsive user interfaces, develop backend APIs, and architect deployments that can scale globally. OAuth/OIDC. You’ll thrive if you’ve worked on platform or infra teams (Vercel, Cloudflare, AWS) or as a product engineer at performance-oriented orgs (Stripe, Notion, etc.). What You’ll Do
Design and implement performant, maintainable web apps using TypeScript, React/Next.js, and Node/FastAPI/Go.
Build and operate distributed backends with Postgres, Redis, and task queues.
Manage infrastructure-as-code deployments (Terraform/CDK) on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Implement CI/CD, automated testing, observability, and incident-response workflows.
Collaborate with product and robotics teams to integrate data, telemetry, and control interfaces.
Build customer facing and internal tools
Full stack application development
Comfortable with the pace and intensity of early-stage startup life, including long days, and 6-day workweeks
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
U.S. permanent residency required
