Role summary

Alliance Corporation is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join their growing team. This role involves receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products using RF scanners and FIFO procedures. Responsibilities include maintaining inventory records, performing cycle counts, ensuring product quality, and keeping the warehouse clean and safe. The position requires 2-4 years of warehouse, shipping, and receiving experience, along with 2-4 years of forklift and reach truck experience. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, possess basic math, computer, and Microsoft Office skills (including Excel), and have strong attention to detail. Effective communication and a strong work ethic are essential. Experience in the telecommunications industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload, and verify incoming products and shipments.
  • Store and organize products using RF scanners and first in first out procedures.
  • Pick, pack, label, and prepare orders for shipment.
  • Load and unload products safely and accurately.
  • Inspect products for quality and report any discrepancies to immediate supervisor.
  • Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records.
  • Inspect product to ensure saleable condition with acceptable code dating.
  • Perform cycle counts, stock rotation, and restocking as needed.
  • Keep warehouse and storage areas clean, organized, and safe.
  • Follow company safety procedures and applicable GMP requirements.
  • Work with warehouse team members to support daily operations.
  • Manage inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
  • Perform other warehouse duties and cross-train as needed.

    • Requirements

  • 2 - 4 years of warehouse, shipping, and receiving experience.
  • 2 - 4 years of Forklift and reach truck experience
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
  • Basic math, writing, computer, and Microsoft Office skills, to include email and Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately handle products and inventory.
  • Perform daily cycle counts and participate in annual inventory count.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to follow established safety procedures and safe lifting practices.
  • Full-time availability with occasional overtime work based on operational needs.
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.

    • Preferred Skills

  • High School diploma/GED
  • Experience in the telecommunications industry
  • Reach Truck experience
  • RF handheld experience

    • Pay Rate: $24.00 - 26.00/hour CAD
