Role summary
Harris Hill Nursing Facility is seeking a Floor Technician to maintain a clean and safe floor environment for residents, visitors, and staff. This full-time role involves vacuuming, mopping, and performing routine housekeeping tasks. The position requires strong attention to detail, communication, and customer service skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. No prior experience is required, but 6 months of housekeeping or laundry experience is preferred. The facility is a CMS 5-Star rated institution known for its quality care and collaborative culture.
Floor Technician
Rate: $16- $19/hour (depending on experience)
Shift: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 4 am - 12 pm
Harris Hill Nursing Facility is looking to add a Floor Technician to its team. In this role, you’ll help maintain a clean and safe, floor for residents, visitors, and staff throughout the facility. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Clean floors to maintain a safe and sanitary environment
- Vacuum hallways, mop floors, and perform routine housekeeping tasks as directed
- Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and repair needs to the appropriate supervisor
- Follow infection control, HIPAA, safety, and facility policies and procedures
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and attend required meetings and trainings
- Perform additional duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum education requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum experience requirement: No experience required; 6 months of housekeeping or laundry experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment
