Role summary

Seeking a Security Officer with open availability or two-shift availability (1st & 2nd, 2nd & 3rd, or 3rd & 1st), including weekend availability. Responsibilities include providing excellent customer service, maintaining administrative logs, controlling access, monitoring security cameras, conducting patrols, and responding to incidents. Required qualifications include being at least 18 years old, having experience in customer service or related fields, comfort with animals, a High School diploma or GED, the ability to obtain an Illinois PERC card, passing a drug screen and background check, and meeting physical demands. Bilingualism is considered a plus. Pay starts at $18.00/hour with benefits and growth opportunities.

No PERC card, no problem. We will help you obtain your PERC if you have never had a PERC before.

Responsibilities of Security Officers include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information
  • Maintain clear, accurate administrative logs at front desk pertaining to people or property including packages.
  • Control access for tenants, visitors or vendors as required
  • Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment
  • Respond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and record data on incidents for building and Titan Security management
  • Other duties as assigned

    • Required Qualifications of Security Officers:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have experience as a door staff professional or in a receptionist, customer service, clerical, hotel or restaurant position.
  • Must be comfortable around dogs, cats, and other pets/animals
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Able to acquire and maintain a valid Illinois Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC), including state accredited training requirements
  • Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
  • Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather
