Role summary

Titan Security is seeking Flex Security Officers for the Willis Tower in downtown Chicago. This role requires availability for at least two out of three shifts, including weekends and holidays, with potential for short-notice assignments. Responsibilities include providing excellent customer service, maintaining logs, controlling access, monitoring security cameras, conducting patrols, and responding to incidents. Candidates must be at least 18, possess a high school diploma or GED, and be able to obtain an Illinois PERC card. Physical ability to perform duties such as lifting 50+ lbs and working in various weather conditions is essential. Bilingualism is a plus.

Titan Security is hiring Flex Security Officers for the Willis Tower in Downtown Chicago!

All candidates must also be available to work weekends and holidays. Flex Officers do not have a set schedule and must be available to work at least two (2) of the three (3) shifts. We will make every effort to give advance notice of assignments for open shifts, vacation coverages, personal days, etc., but call-offs may need to be covered with four (4) hours or less notice. The more availability you have, the more hours you'll be available to pick up!

Responsibilities of Flex Security Officers include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information
  • Maintain clear, accurate administrative logs at front desk pertaining to people or property including packages.
  • Control access for tenants, visitors or vendors as required
  • Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment
  • Respond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and record data on incidents for building and Titan Security management
  • Other duties as assigned

    • Required Qualifications of Flex Security Officers:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Available for 2 or 3 shifts
  • Must have experience as a door staff professional or in a receptionist, customer service, clerical, hotel or restaurant position
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Able to acquire and maintain a valid Illinois Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC), including state accredited training requirements
  • Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
  • Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather

    • Preferred Qualifications of Security Officers:• Bi-lingual considered a plus
