Role summary

Titan is seeking Security Officers for 2nd and 3rd shifts in Downtown Chicago commercial buildings. Responsibilities include providing excellent customer service, maintaining logs, controlling access, monitoring security cameras, conducting patrols, and responding to incidents and emergencies. Candidates must be at least 21, have experience in customer-facing roles, possess a High School diploma or GED, and be able to obtain an Illinois PERC card. A pre-employment drug screen and background check are required. Physical ability to perform duties such as lifting 50+ lbs and extensive walking is necessary. Bilingualism is a plus.

Titan is looking for Security Officers to work 2nd and 3rd shift for commercial buildings in Downtown Chicago!

Responsibilities of Security Officers include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information
  • Maintain clear, accurate administrative logs at front desk pertaining to people or property including packages.
  • Control access for tenants, visitors or vendors as required
  • Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment
  • Respond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and record data on incidents for building and Titan Security management
  • Other duties as assigned

    • Required Qualifications of Security Officers:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must have experience as a door staff professional or in a receptionist, customer service, clerical, hotel or restaurant position.
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Able to acquire and maintain a valid Illinois Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC), including state accredited training requirements
  • Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
  • Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather

    • Preferred Qualifications of Security Officers:

  • Bi-lingual considered a plus.
  • Evening, overnight, and weekend availability required

  • Positions starting between $19.00 - $21.35 / hour depending on experience, location and position
