TripSuite, an early-stage, venture-backed startup in the FinTech and Travel space, is seeking a Founding Fullstack Developer to build a new application from the ground up. This role involves full-stack development from database design to deployment, contributing to system architecture, and ensuring best practices for code quality. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience with Node.js, React, a cloud platform like AWS, and PostgreSQL. Experience with TypeScript and payment processing is a plus. This is a fully remote, full-time position with competitive salary and significant equity.

Where You Meet TripSuite
As one of the first developers, you’ll be tasked with building a new application and contributing to all parts of the platform. This is your chance to build something from the ground up that’s pivotal to the future of our company. We’re an early-stage startup, so we’re looking for someone who can work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. You will report directly to the CTO.
You Will:
- Be responsible for the full stack of a new application, from database design to deployment
- Work closely with our CEO, CTO, and other engineers to build features and improvements
- Be a key player in system architecture, frameworks, technologies, and everything that makes for great software
- Bring best practices for writing clean, testable, and scalable code
- Understand our clients’ journey and build software that enables best-in-class experiences
- Build an innovative product to revolutionize the travel industry
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong experience with Node.js and React
- Experience with AWS or other cloud platform
- Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational database
Nice to Have:
- Experience with TypeScript
- Experience with payment processing
