Fleet Operations Coordinator — Remote

Use your organization, communication, and problem-solving skills to help keep a busy transportation operation moving.

Truck Driver Nation LLC is hiring a full-time Fleet Operations Coordinator to work directly with our team and support the day-to-day operation of our U.S. transportation activities from a remote, work-from-home environment.

Previous fleet, trucking, transportation, or logistics experience is preferred but not required. Candidates with transferable experience in operations, scheduling, customer service, administrative coordination, dispatch support, fleet support, or other fast-paced professional environments are encouraged to apply.

This position may be a good fit for someone who naturally keeps track of details, follows up consistently, communicates clearly, and notices potential operational problems before they become larger issues.

What You'll Do

As a Fleet Operations Coordinator, you will help maintain visibility into driver and equipment activity while supporting the administrative and operational needs of the transportation team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitor driver and vehicle status throughout daily transportation operations.
  • Maintain accurate fleet, driver, equipment, and operational information in company systems.
  • Communicate professionally with drivers and internal team members regarding schedules, equipment status, operational needs, and required updates.
  • Follow up with drivers to obtain status information and required documentation.
  • Track vehicle availability and report equipment issues that could affect operations.
  • Assist with coordinating routine vehicle maintenance, service appointments, inspections, and repair-related communication.
  • Maintain records related to vehicle service, maintenance activity, inspections, and other fleet information as required.
  • Help identify scheduling conflicts, equipment concerns, missing information, and other operational issues.
  • Escalate safety, equipment, driver, or operational concerns to the appropriate team member.
  • Assist with coordinating changes that affect driver or vehicle availability.
  • Maintain accurate notes, records, and status updates in company systems.
  • Support communication between drivers and the transportation operations team.
  • Help ensure required operational information is complete, organized, and available when needed.
  • Provide additional fleet and transportation coordination support as required by daily operations.

What We're Looking For

  • Fleet operations, trucking, transportation, logistics, or dispatch-support experience is preferred but not required.
  • Relevant experience in operations, scheduling, administrative coordination, customer service, fleet support, transportation support, or similar professional environments will be considered.
  • Fluent spoken and written English.
  • Strong professional phone, email, and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good problem-solving and follow-up abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accurate records.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with drivers and internal team members.
  • Comfortable working with computers, email, spreadsheets, and web-based business systems.
  • Computer suitable for daily professional remote work.
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection.
  • Reliable and professional work-from-home environment.
  • Ability to work independently and remain accountable in a remote position.
  • Availability during required U.S. transportation operating hours.
  • Familiarity with U.S. trucking, fleet operations, transportation, vehicle-maintenance coordination, or logistics is an advantage.

Who May Do Well in This Role

You may be a strong candidate if you're the person who naturally keeps track of what is happening, what still needs to happen, and who needs to know about it.

Fleet operations involve many moving parts. Driver availability can change, equipment may require attention, schedules can shift, and missing information can quickly affect the rest of an operation.

The ability to stay organized, follow up consistently, communicate changes promptly, and maintain accurate information is especially valuable in this position.

Direct fleet experience can be helpful, but strong transferable skills from transportation, logistics, operations, scheduling, administrative coordination, customer service, or other deadline-driven environments can also provide a useful foundation.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Central Time. Schedule adjustments may occasionally be required based on fleet activity, driver availability, equipment needs, maintenance coordination, or other transportation operating requirements.

Compensation

$20.00–$25.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
