Role summary

TTC Global, a quality engineering and software testing consultancy, is seeking a Test Automation Specialist for a federal government client engagement in Ottawa. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining automated tests for SAP and enterprise applications, with a focus on Tricentis Tosca. Responsibilities include creating reusable test assets, analyzing results, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines, and reporting on progress. This hybrid role requires at least 5 years of test automation experience and a valid Government of Canada security clearance. Experience with SAP applications and Tricentis Tosca is strongly preferred.

    • Position summary

    You will design, build and maintain automated tests for SAP and enterprise applications used by a federal government client. You will work in a delivery team alongside functional testers, business analysts and developers, turning test scenarios into reliable, reusable automation.

    This position supports a Government of Canada engagement that TTC Global is pursuing with a consulting partner. This posting is for a future opportunity; start dates depend on the engagement being confirmed.

    Responsibilities

  • Design, build and maintain automated test suites, using Tricentis Tosca where possible.
  • Automate end to end business process tests across SAP modules and integrated systems.
  • Create and manage reusable modules, test data and test case templates.
  • Run automated regression packs, analyze results and log defects with clear evidence.
  • Integrate automated tests into release and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Report automation coverage and progress to the test lead and client stakeholders.
  • Follow the client's security, documentation and change control requirements.

    • Qualifications

  • At least [5] years of experience in test automation.
  • Hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca is strongly preferred; Tosca certification (AS1, AS2 or higher) is an asset.
  • Experience testing SAP applications (for example S/4HANA, ECC or SAP Fiori) is strongly preferred.
  • Solid understanding of test design, regression strategy and the software development life cycle.
  • Experience delivering projects for Government of Canada departments or agencies.
  • Must hold a valid Government of Canada security clearance (any level).
  • Strong written and spoken English. French is an asset.
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada.
  • Live within commuting distance of Ottawa and able to work on site at client locations as required.

    • Schedule and location

    Monday to Friday, aligned to Ottawa business hours (Eastern Time). Hybrid, with on site work at client locations in Ottawa as required.

    Employment type: open to full time or contract.
