Role summary
Uline is seeking a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead cybersecurity, risk management, and regulatory compliance. This executive role involves setting the enterprise-wide security strategy, overseeing policies and controls, and reporting on risks and performance to leadership. The CISO will also build and develop Information Security teams, identify staffing needs, and manage third-party vendors to mitigate risk. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 12+ years of progressive Information Security experience with at least 5 years in leadership, and hands-on knowledge of security frameworks, risk management, and data protection. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills are essential. This is an on-site role at the Corporate Headquarters in Pleasant Prairie, WI.

Work with executive leadership and business teams to protect critical data, strengthen resilience and ensure a secure environment for our growing North American company.

Position Responsibilities
- Provide executive-level leadership for Uline’s Security Operating Model, identifying staffing needs and third-party vendors to mitigate risk.
- Build, develop and lead Information Security teams, setting clear expectations across all levels to support performance, accountability and long-term talent development.
- Define and drive the organization’s enterprise-wide security strategy based on business objectives and risk tolerance.
- Oversee security policies, standards and controls that meet regulatory requirements and protect the business.
- Report on security risks, incidents and performance and provide actionable insights to executive leadership.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering or similar.
- 12+ years of progressive experience in Information Security with 5+ years in a leadership position.
- Strong background in building and executing enterprise security programs.
- Hands-on knowledge of security frameworks, risk management and data protection practices.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Uline does not participate in the H-1B lottery.
