Role summary

United Vein & Vascular Centers (UVVC) is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for their office-based-lab setting. The RN will manage patients undergoing medical or surgical procedures, providing professional nursing care, assessment, planning, guidance, and evaluation. Responsibilities include ensuring safe patient care, providing leadership to clinical staff, and maintaining patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA. The role requires at least 2 years of experience in an acute care setting (Cath Lab/IR Lab, ER, ICU, CVICU, PACU) and requires ACLS and BLS certifications. Experience with moderate sedation, OR circulation, and pre/post-op care is valued, with conscious sedation experience being preferred. This is a hybrid role with potential for remote travel.

Position Overview:

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for managing patients admitted or being seen for medical conditions or surgical procedures. They will perform the primary function of a professional nurse in assessing, planning, guiding, and evaluating nursing care provided to patients. The RN will work in our office-based-lab setting for shifts that could be scheduled Monday - Thursday.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
  • Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
  • Oversee and guide clinical employees that are under their supervision.
  • May be occasions when it will be necessary for some remote travel. 
  • Demonstrates service excellence in accordance with UVVC standards at all times.

  • Other duties as assigned.

    • Qualifications:

  • Must have at least 2 years of experience in an acute care setting (Cath Lab/IR Lab ER, ICU, CVICU, PACU).
  • ACLS and BLS certification required
  • Experience with moderate sedation, OR circulation, pre- and post op valued
  • Conscious Sedation experience preferred
  • Must have an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in the state to which you are applying
