Role summary

UnityPoint Health is seeking a regional Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee finance, accounting, financial information technology, patient financial services, health information management, internal control, auditing, reimbursement, and financial operations for the health care organization. The role requires a Master’s Degree in Finance and/or a CPA, with a minimum of 5 years of financial experience and 10 years of healthcare experience. Strong communication, adaptability to technology, and strategic thinking are essential. A CMA is preferred.

The regional Chief Financial Officer of the health care organization and is responsible for the development, interpretation, coordination and administration of policies on finance, accounting, financial information technology, patient financial services, health information management, internal control and auditing, reimbursement, and financial operations.

Minimum Requirements:

Master’s Degree Finance and/or CPA
5 years financial experience
10 years health care experience
Valid driver’s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons
Exemplary communication skills
Adaptability to technology
Demonstrated strategic thinking
Use of usual and customary equipment used to perform essential functions of the position
