UX Designer
Role summary
We are seeking a skilled Mobile UX/Product Designer for a 6-month contract role, supporting key financial planning initiatives. This remote-friendly position involves close collaboration with the Lead Strategist and feature teams to evolve the mobile experience. Responsibilities include designing global mobile navigation, defining the future financial planning hub's user experience, and shaping native shell components. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in native iOS and Android design, advanced Figma skills, and a systems-thinking approach, with a focus on usability, consistency, and technical feasibility.

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile UX/Product Designer to support key initiatives.
This person will primarily partner closely with the Lead Strategist, while also collaborating with a variety of feature teams, especially platform-focused teams, to help shape and evolve the mobile experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the continued evolution of global mobile navigation, ensuring consistency across the app while aligning with web experiences and native platform expectations.
- Help define and design the mobile experience for the future financial planning hub, with a strong focus on navigation and usability within the Plan Hub.
- Own and help shape key native shell components, including mobile expressions of the broader web redesign, such as main navigation, top navigation, and utility patterns.
- Partner closely with the Design Systems team to ensure mobile experiences follow established standards and that wayfinding patterns remain intuitive, scalable, and user-friendly.
- Build strong cross-functional alignment across design, product, and platform teams, helping drive clarity and consistency across initiatives.
- Create detailed and interactive Figma prototypes to support concept development, usability testing, and stakeholder buy-in.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong background in native mobile design for iOS and Android, with a true mobile-first mindset.
- Deep understanding of mobile UX best practices, platform conventions, and emerging trends across the mobile landscape.
- Advanced Figma skills, including experience with variables, auto-layout, and interactive prototyping for complex workflows.
- Strong ability to connect across teams, influence stakeholders, and clearly communicate design decisions through storytelling and collaboration.
- A systems-thinking mindset with solid awareness of technical feasibility and development constraints.
- Strong design process, including the ability to frame problems strategically, navigate divergent and convergent thinking, and execute with a high level of detail.
