Lead Roofing Field Service Technician

Job Details: Job Location: VALCOURT EXTERIOR DC LHM - Lanham, MD, Salary Range: $25.00 - $35.00Hourly, This role is hands-on and requires physical labor, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn the roofing trade. Key Responsibilities: Assist service technicians with roof repairs, maintenance, and inspections Carry and organize tools, materials, and equipment on job sites Clean and prepare roof surfaces before and after repairs Help identify roof leaks and problem areas Set up ladders, safety equipment, and job site protection Remove debris and ensure job sites are clean and safe Follow all safety procedures, including fall protection and OSHA guidelines Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors Drive company vehicles to and from job sites (if qualified) Qualifications: Requirements: Previous construction or roofing experience preferred, but not required Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, and varying weather conditions Comfortable working at heights and on ladders Ability to lift 50–75 lbs. regularly Valid driver’s license (preferred) Strong work ethic and reliability Willingness to learn roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, modified bitumen, shingles, etc.) Skills & Attributes: Team-oriented with a positive attitude Punctual and dependable Mechanically inclined Safety-conscious mindset Able to follow directions and take initiative Work Environment: Outdoor job sites, often on rooftops Physically demanding work including climbing, bending, and lifting Exposure to sun, heat, and weather elements Compensation & Growth: Hourly pay based on experience Opportunity for overtime On-the-job training provided Growth path to Service Technician or Foreman
