Pay Rate: $21.20 Pay Rate & Attendance Bonus: $21.82 DEPARTMENT: QA Lab/Sample Merchandising REPORTS TO: Quality Lab Manager/Lead FLSA: Hourly Non-Exempt EST./REVISED: 10/22/23 Job Summary: Perform critical testing and subsequent analysis of test data. Essential Functions: Perform physical testing of fabrics according to industry standards Maintain and create work instructions as required. Meet deadlines and production quotas Respond to customer requests for testing data and/or subsequent technical data Perform data analysis to ensure accuracy and reliability of test data related to testing procedure and grading criteria. Other Requirements: Work directly with customers to facilitate special testing requests Work with outside test facilities to coordinate training for new test procedures . Safety: Safely perform all duties following guidelines established by Valdese Weavers. Report all job-related injuries and safety hazards to the supervisor as soon as possible. Actively participate in safety programs that identify, investigate, and correct safety hazards. Maintain 5S standards. PPE as required by policy and guidelines Qualifications: Qualifications: Meet all pre-employment requirements. Excellent writing, analytical and math skills as required by the position. Good communication skills with the ability to work well with others Proficiency in data analysis tools such as excel spreadsheets and pivot tables
