Role summary
Valeo, a global automotive supplier, seeks a Senior Methods Engineer in Seymour, IN. This role involves designing automotive lighting assembly equipment and developing production processes. Responsibilities include cost minimization, budget adherence, meeting timeframes, and achieving quality objectives. The engineer will also mentor junior team members. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and 4 years of experience in a Methods or Process Engineering role within automotive lighting, with specific experience in automated assembly equipment, engineering processes, photometric aiming, plastic welding, gluing equipment, and equipment development from specification to validation. Proficiency in CAD and GD&T is necessary. International travel is required.
