Role summary

Vay is launching the world's first teledriven commercial trucking operations and seeks Remote Truck Drivers to operate trucks remotely via a specialized station. This role involves performing test drives, adhering to protocols, collecting data, and providing feedback to the engineering team. What’s happening at Vay

First to roll out vehicles in both Europe and the USA on public roads without a human being inside & currently the 2nd largest commercial, driverless car fleet in the Western World.

We've partnered with Kodiak to bring remote-driving technology to autonomous trucks in the US, showcasing our ability to integrate our system into heavy-duty commercial vehicles and expand the applications of our tech across the US.

We’ve completed over 150,000 trips so far and are busy multiplying our Las Vegas fleet just to meet demand!

Be part of the future of freight as a Remote Truck Driver, helping launch one of the world’s first teledriven commercial trucking operations. You’ll work on the frontlines of a groundbreaking project that’s redefining how cargo moves - bringing together innovation, logistics, and cutting-edge autonomous vehicle technology. Shift pattern will be 4 x 12 hour shifts per week.

What you'll be driving:

Remotely operate commercial trucks within a designated service area via a specialized remote driving station

Perform test drives as a Remote Driver, adhering strictly to test protocols

Collaborate with the engineering team to collect data and provide feedback via structured reports

Support broader fleet operations and contribute to a smooth and safe customer experience

Assist with administrative or fleet-related tasks as needed

What are we looking for:

A CDL-licensed truck driver with 3–5 years of commercial driving experience

A strong commitment to safety - on the road and in remote operations

Flexibility to work a variety of shifts (morning, afternoon, or evening)

Organized, responsible, and detail-oriented with a calm, problem-solving mindset

Someone excited about the future of autonomous trucking and mobility innovation

Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

Enrolled in (or willing to enroll in) an MVR pull program
