Role summary
Veeva Systems is seeking an Associate DevOps Engineer to support their AI-native data platform, NitroAI, which serves the life sciences industry. This role focuses on maintaining the reliability and security of the AWS and Kubernetes analytics infrastructure for a global consulting team. Responsibilities include managing GitOps deployments, CI/CD pipelines, platform observability, and incident response. The ideal candidate has 1+ years of experience with AWS and Kubernetes, working knowledge of GitLab CI/CD, and familiarity with GitOps and Infrastructure as Code tools. A strong customer-service mindset and communication skills are essential as you will be supporting internal engineering teams.
The Role
Nitro is an AI-native data platform that democratizes life sciences data for non-technical commercial teams, turning fragmented HCP/HCO, prescription, and industry data into decisions the field can act on. Our team is seeking an Associate DevOps Engineer to support our business consulting team’s AWS and Kubernetes analytics infrastructure as part of the broader NitroAI Team. You'll work alongside the team keeping this platform reliable and secure, with real ownership over the pieces you run day to day. This role needs solid technical fundamentals, but just as important is a customer-service mindset: you'll be supporting internal engineering teams directly, so how you communicate, troubleshoot with empathy, and show up when something's broken matters as much as the fix itself.
