Role summary

VIP is seeking a Supplier Support Specialist to join their Support Team in Colchester, VT. This full-time, hybrid role focuses on supporting beverage suppliers with sales data collection services and reporting solutions. The specialist will build strong supplier relationships by providing responsive support, addressing concerns, and ensuring efficient software usage. Key responsibilities include managing customer relationships, analyzing data quality, and directing concerns to appropriate resources. Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel, are required. One year of customer support experience and beverage industry knowledge are preferred.

Annual Compensation: $49,920 - $54,080

Position Type: Full time, Hybrid (3 Days on-site in Colchester, VT)

About the Role

VIP is seeking a Supplier Support Specialist to join our Support Team. The Supplier Services part of our business is focused on moving data between distributors and suppliers in the beverage industry. This role is focused on supporting beverage suppliers with our sales data collection services and assisting them with our reporting solutions. Supplier Support Specialists work in a team setting to provide support for a designated group of customers.

What You'll Do

  • Establish a positive, professional and trustworthy relationship with our customers and help them work towards efficient usage of our software.
  • Build strong supplier relationships by providing responsive support, addressing concerns, and connecting customers with appropriate internal resources.
  • Help customers better understand the quality and reliability of our data and how it contributes towards their product's success.
  • Ensure that any customer concerns are addressed in a timely manner and directed to the appropriate resources.
  • Prioritize daily, weekly and monthly responsibilities, both to the company and the customer.

  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft excel and business software applications.
  • At least one year of customer support experience preferred
  • Bachelor's or associate degree preferred
