Role summary

Vesco Medical is seeking an Associate Product Manager to manage daily activities related to building and maintaining product demand within their small, start-up medical device business. This role focuses on commercial efforts, marketing, and customer interaction to expand the customer base. The individual will ensure effective communication of product knowledge to prospective customers. Key responsibilities include managing product labels, documentation, marketing communications, social media strategy, and providing sales support. The position requires expertise in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and a minimum of 2-4 years of experience in medical device marketing, promotion, or sales. A Bachelor's degree is required, with an MBA preferred. The role is based onsite in Columbus, OH.

Associate Product Manager

The Vesco Medical Associate Product Manager position will be responsible for managing some of the daily activities for building and maintaining product demand. This is a multi-faceted role in a small start-up medical device business. This individual will be responsible for commercial efforts with a focus on marketing and customer interaction, supporting our expanding customer base. The ultimate responsibility is to ensure that we are reaching more prospective customers each day with the right message and exceptional exchange of category and product knowledge in a warm and friendly manner. This position requires a high degree of teamwork and attention to detail to deliver desired performance results while, keeping abreast of key benchmarking metrics and market dynamics.

Critical for the role is understanding the business and technical processes, delivering the desired system performance results while keeping abreast of key reporting requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Management (60%)

· Use Adobe InDesign to create, maintain, and update product labels working within the requirements of our quality management system

· Manage new and existing, multi-lingual product label changes for all Vesco markets

· Maintain in depth knowledge on how our products work, particularly key products such as our Enteral Feeding Pumps

· Create, maintain, and update product IFUs, user guides and product inserts

· Ensure accuracy of content developed and submitted to our regulatory team for approval

· Attend monthly forecast meetings to understand ongoing and future demand for our products

· Assist with the annual update of the product catalog

Marketing Communications/Promotions: (25%)

· Assist with annual brand/product plans including promotional plans, convention participation and other marketing tactics

· Set social media strategy and maintain company social media outlets

· Develop and maintain US and International sales and promotional materials including sales aids, catalogs, and convention/congress materials

· Manage annual convention calendar, company presence, booth staffing and sponsorship opportunities.

Product Management Sales Support Service: (15%)

· Provide direct support to business development representatives and sales team through marketing communications and sales aid development and promotional support

· Create messaging & copy for all outbound communications for prospective customer outreach

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor’s degree required, master in business administration preferred

· Minimum 2-4 years of medical device or related marketing, promotion or sales experience

· Expert in Microsoft Office software (word, excel, power point) and project mgt software

· Expert in Adobe Illustrator and InDesign Creative Tools

· Excellent written & verbal communication skills

Location: On Site Columbus, OH (New Albany)

Educational Requirements: Bachelors, MBA preferred

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
