Role summary

VML Toronto is seeking a creatively driven Creative Director or Associate Creative Director with strong Art Direction skills to partner with a CD Writer. This role involves conceptualizing and executing integrated, award-winning ideas across diverse client categories. You will collaborate with the ECD and CCO to elevate creative standards, demonstrating world-class craft using Adobe Creative Suite and Figma. The ideal candidate has a portfolio showcasing big-idea thinking, ambition, and a collaborative, ego-free mindset, with the courage to challenge the status quo and pitch innovative concepts. The position offers a hybrid work model, with teams in the office an average of four days a week.

Creative Director, Art Direction

Are you a creatively driven Creative Director or Associate Creative Director ready to take the leap into a great new role? At VML Toronto, we're looking for a CD Art Director to partner with an incredibly talented CD Writer to make career-defining work. What you'll do:

Partner with a talented CD Writer to conceptualize and execute big, integrated, award-winning ideas

Demonstrate world-class craft, bringing exceptional art direction and design skills to life using Adobe Creative Suite and Figma

Collaborate directly with our Toronto-based ECD and CCO to elevate the creative standard across the agency

Work across a wide variety of client categories — no single industry focus means endless opportunities to stretch your creative muscles

Champion our core values of Heart, Brains, and Courage in every brainstorm, presentation, and team interaction

What you'll bring:

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range between the values at the bottom of this posting. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.

-$110,000—$160,000 CAD
