Senior Platform Product Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Platform Product Manager to lead the strategy, development, and optimization of core platform systems, backend infrastructure, integrations, and AI driven capabilities that support scalable digital experiences across web, mobile, and partner platforms. This role will focus on improving platform reliability, operational efficiency, system scalability, and internal tooling while partnering closely with engineering, analytics, operations, and customer experience teams. The ideal candidate brings a strong technical product management background with experience working on APIs, backend systems, integrations, cloud platforms, and automation initiatives in fast paced environments. This position requires a highly analytical and execution focused leader who can bridge technical and business priorities while driving platform innovation and operational excellence.
Responsibilities

• Own and manage the platform roadmap across backend systems, APIs, integrations, data infrastructure, and operational tooling
• Partner with engineering leadership to define scalable platform architecture and modernization initiatives
• Drive platform reliability, observability, release quality, and operational efficiency improvements
• Lead supplier and partner integration initiatives including onboarding, monitoring, and connectivity improvements
• Improve data quality, system mapping, operational visibility, and workflow automation capabilities
• Collaborate with operations and support teams to enhance internal tools and customer workflows
• Identify and implement AI driven automation opportunities across operational and platform functions
• Support development of AI powered workflows leveraging large language models and automation frameworks
• Partner cross functionally with product, analytics, engineering, and business teams to prioritize and execute initiatives
• Define success metrics, operational guardrails, and scalable platform adoption strategies
• Drive continuous improvements across release processes, monitoring systems, and platform performance

Qualifications And Certifications

• 5+ years of Product Management experience supporting platform systems, integrations, backend infrastructure, or technical products
• Strong understanding of APIs, distributed systems, backend architectures, cloud infrastructure, and data pipelines
• Experience collaborating closely with engineering teams on technical platform initiatives
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills
• Experience managing cross functional projects in fast paced environments
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non technical stakeholders
• Experience with AI enabled products, automation systems, or intelligent workflows preferred
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, SQL, CI/CD processes, and observability tools preferred
• Experience with marketplace platforms, integrations, payments, fraud systems, or commerce infrastructure preferred
• Startup or high growth technology company experience preferred
